Devotional #8: Pieces of the Puzzle
"So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
Romans 12:5
Have you ever tried to put a puzzle together? All those different pieces, each with their own unique shape and design, fitting together to form one complete picture. That's a little bit like what Romans 12:5 says: "So in Christ, we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."
In a family, we're like those puzzle pieces. We're all different—maybe you're good at making people laugh, or your sister is great at solving tricky math problems, or your dad cooks the best pancakes. We each have our own gifts and strengths, but when we come together, we create something beautiful—our family!
And just like how each puzzle piece is important for the whole picture, each person in our family is important. We belong to each other, and we need each other to be a complete and strong family.
This week, let's remember to value each person's unique piece in our family puzzle. Let's celebrate each other's gifts and strengths, because together, we form one strong family!
Family Discussion Question:
What do you think is your "puzzle piece" in our family? How do our different strengths help to make our family stronger?
