Devotional #7: Living Together in Harmony
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!"
Psalms 133:1
Have you ever listened to a choir sing a beautiful song, all their voices joining together to create one perfect sound? It's amazing! Psalm 133:1 says, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" This verse is like saying, "Isn't it awesome when a family works together like a perfect choir?"
Living in harmony means we agree to work together, like teammates. We might have different ideas and different jobs in the family, but we all aim for the same goal: to love and support each other.
But guess what? Living in harmony doesn't mean we always agree on everything. Just like in a choir, different voices sing different parts, but they all work together to make a beautiful song. In our family, we can have different opinions and still work together in love.
This week, let's aim to live in harmony. Let's listen to each other, respect each other's parts, and work together to create a beautiful family song.
Family Discussion Question:
Can you think of a time when our family worked together like a perfect choir? How can we do more of that to make our family song even more beautiful?
